The upcoming romantic comedy anime Isshiki-san Wants to Know About Love has received a brand-new main trailer ahead of its January 2027 premiere. The latest promotional video gives fans another look at the series' characters while previewing its opening theme song, performed by Enako.
The anime is based on the manga by Ayune Araragi and follows a police inspector who finds herself struggling with unfamiliar romantic feelings.
A Police Inspector Discovering Love
The story centers on Isshiki, a serious and respected police inspector whose professional attitude begins to change whenever her colleague Rokutanda is around.
Although she is confident in her work, Isshiki has little experience with romance. Her feelings leave her confused, causing her to make mistakes and behave differently around her coworker.
To understand what love really means, she decides to enter a pretend relationship with Rokutanda. What begins as an unusual experiment gradually creates opportunities for romantic misunderstandings, comedy, and emotional moments.
Enako Performs the Opening Theme
The newly released trailer previews the opening theme song “Go yoku Koi wo Seisu,” performed by Enako. She will also voice the character Nene Hashita in the anime.
The trailer highlights the developing relationship between Isshiki and Rokutanda, offering viewers a preview of the romantic comedy's tone before its television debut.
