The upcoming Medalist anime movie is celebrating Halloween with a newly illustrated promotional visual featuring Inori Yuitsuka and several familiar characters dressed in magical school-inspired costumes.
Released on October 31, the special artwork gives fans a different look at the characters outside their usual figure-skating outfits. The visual features Inori, Yuna Yagi, Main Kogureda, Rinna Sarukawa, and Aika Roba in stylish costumes inspired by students attending a magical academy.
A Special Halloween Celebration
The Halloween illustration was released as part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming Medalist theatrical film. Alongside the artwork, the official website is offering digital content, including wallpapers and icons.
The official social media account is also holding a poster giveaway, with ten winners set to receive a Halloween visual poster. The campaign is scheduled to run until November 15, 2026, according to the official announcement.
Continuing Inori’s Figure-Skating Journey
Based on the manga by Tsurumaikada, Medalist follows Inori Yuitsuka, a young girl who dreams of becoming a successful figure skater.
Her journey changes when she meets Tsukasa Akeuraji, a former skater who becomes her coach. Together, they work toward their goal of reaching the highest levels of competitive figure skating.
The television anime introduced audiences to their relationship and the challenges of the sport. The upcoming movie will continue the story following the events of the second television season.
Movie Release Date
The first Medalist theatrical movie is scheduled to open in Japanese cinemas on February 19, 2027. It will continue the anime's story and give fans another opportunity to follow Inori's development as a competitive skater.
The Halloween visual offers a fun promotional treat while anticipation builds for the film's theatrical release.
